Overview of the Exhibition

The AFF Exhibition, also known as Asia Fashion Fair, was renamed from the CFF (China Fashion Fair) exhibition. As early as 2003, there was a rapid growth in demand for Chinese textile and apparel OEM/ODM services in Japan. In response to this trend, China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) jointly initiated the CFF exhibition with the Japan-China Economic and Trade Center.

The exhibition received responses and praises from both Chinese and Japanese industries. Also, it received support from local governments and trade organizations in Japan. Some of the supporting units are listed below: Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, Kinki Economic and Industrial Bureau, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), JETRO Osaka Office, Japan Fiber Exporters Association, Japan Fiber Importers Association, Kansai Fashion Joint, Japan Fashion Association, Japan Apparel & Fashion Industry Council, Japan Interior Textiles Association, Japan Council of Shopping Centers, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) East Japan, Dai Sen Co., Ltd., and the Credit Exchange Association.

Due to the pursuit of the exhibition's business effectiveness and the establishment of an indispensable and efficient platform for Sino-Japanese industries, the exhibition has become one of the most representative OEM/ODM exhibitions in Japan. It has maintained a frequency of holding exhibitions in Osaka and Tokyo every year. In recent years, industrial demand in Japan has diversified in the Asian region, leading to an increased procurement demand from Southeast Asia and South Asia countries and regions, the so-called "China +1" trend becoming more apparent. In order to meet the demand of attending buyers to realize the "China +1" option in the same exhibition, the exhibition hopes to make efforts to increase the participation of more Asian companies, allowing all parties to fully utilize the existing trading platform and further expand its industrial influence. In September 2014, during the 22nd exhibition, the exhibition was renamed AFF Exhibition.

The organizer of the AFF exhibition is Japan AFF Co., Ltd., the co-organizer is Japan-China Economic and Trade Center, and the executive agency is the AFF Secretariat, which includes the original CFF executive agency China National Textile Advertising Exhibition Co., Ltd. and some supporting groups.
